Camp Poem
WALT write a chain poem about our camp experiences.
Getting to CAMP takes forever.
The dangerous MONORAIL peached high apon the steep hillside.
The curved track helping the cart to pick up SPEED
The cart is in a RUSH, as long as it is on the track it never stops.
Faster than any human can ever RUN.
The carts ENERGY bar forever full.
A flash of LIGHTNING one flash and your at the bottom.
A dangerous STORM throwing you off balance.

Living Springs Camp
The camp fire was really fun
because we sang songs
and made smores.
The bouldering wall was really challenging
AND FUN!

CHOOSE YOUR CULTURE TREAT IT FOUR WAYS!
we are learning about the elements and techniques of painting. We are able to share our cultural identities through the arts.
I chose the New Zealand culture for my painting, because me and my parents were born in New Zealand. I researched a few icons but realised that marmite was a good icon to do. I chose marmite because I love marmite and it is well known in New Zealand.
And then I learnt about Andy Warhol and how he said the rules of art were meant to be broken. Andy Warhol created pop art. In this style he chose popular icons and painted them using different colour mixes.
I learnt about the colour wheel and the different colours on it. Such as
PRIMARY COLOURS. SECONDARY COLOURS COMPLEMENTARY COLOURS
red, yellow and blue. made by mixing primary colours oppisite on the colour
colours. wheel.
ANALAGOUS COLOURS MONOCHROME
3 colours side by side on the 3 shades of one colour
colour wheel.
We drew a bold design of our icon using a drawing pencil. Then we turned it over and traced it onto A2 paper four times one in each quadrant.
Then we chose the colours to paint our icons,
I chose
COMPLEMENTARY- blue and orange
ANALAGOUS- green, blue and turqouse
BLACK AND WHITE- black, white and grey
MONOCHROME-light purple, dark purple and grape purple
I think my art work was very successful it looks
AMAZING!
