The power had been out for about a week now because of the earthquakes. So I took my solar power torch outside. Maybe the wind would cool me down instead of air conditioning on this blazing hot day. I set my torch on the outside table in the sunniest spot. Then I sat down on one of the deck chairs. It's to hot, I thought.
Pointlessly I headed towards the fridge and opened the door.I could not believe the smell! It was soooo pongy! I put everything from the fridge into a bag. That was almost over, Now I just needed to get past the cloud of flies surrounding the bin.
I like the way you have used a few different, yet interesting sentence starters in your writing (pointlessly, maybe).
ReplyDeleteWhere you have written 'It's to hot' this should be 'It's too hot' as the 'to' you have used is used when people are going somewhere (e.g. I am going to the shops).
