"So no sneaking out to that forest tonight, understand?" warned Grandma.
"Yes Grandma" I replied. She left the room. There was no way I was to believe Grandma's silly stories.
Although, I had seen that statue before. I had to investigate!
When I arrived at the midnight black, hooded statue I looked up. The full moon was overhead. I started to think Grandma had tricked me.
Suddenly I saw the sign beside the statue change from "The Black Hooded Statue" to "BEWARE!"
I started to turn around. Then a frozen, bony hand shot out and grabbed me. I slowly looked up, and saw, two red glowing eyes staring at me!

Cool story, I like how it starts with dialogue.
